He was predeceased by: his daughter Shelly Stein; and his siblings, Wayne Rose and Sandy Simmons. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Rose (Crane); his children, Lori Pownall (Thomas) and Michael Rose, Jr. (Ruth); his siblings, Anne Rose Sutton, Beverly Lusk (Robert) and Kevin Rose; and his grandchildren, Max, Ali, Madison Pownall, Mackenzie, Hannah, Paige Stein, Gabriel, Grayson and Dwayne Rose. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
