We bid farewell to Melinda J. Smith (Honeoye Falls, New York), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 22, 2025. Melinda touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the vast expanse of eternity, Melinda shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Melinda farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She is survived by: her parents, Larry Nihiser and Jeanie Nihiser. She is also survived by sisters, brothers.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. (59 Monroe St, Honeoye Falls, NY 14472). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Wheatland Community Church (6746 E River Rd, Rush, NY 14543). A burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at the Pine Hill Cemetery.
