He is survived by: his wife Mary; and his children, Edward Rouse (Dawn), David Rouse (Kathy), Kathy VanZile (Steve) and Mary Lou Milne (Rick). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Honeoye Falls Fire Department.
