He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert W. Johnston and Dorothy M. Johnston (Richter); and his brother Gary R. Johnston. He is survived by: his wife Marlene A. Johnston (Campbell); his sister-in-law Patricia Yarosh (James) of Ocala, FL; and his nephew Mitchell A. Johnston. He is also survived by Many other nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Wilmot Cancer Center at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY where he spent many hours receiving care.
