He was predeceased by: his parents, Gardiner Gilbert and Hazel Wassen Gilbert; and his wife Sally. He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Rohrbach (Tim) and Brenda Abele (Jay); his grandchildren, Emma Trindel, Holly, Ryan Rohrbach and Wyatt Abele; and his brother Duane Gilbert (Terry).
