As we bid Douglas farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Douglas is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman R. Smith and JoAnn T. Smith; and his brothers-in-law, Leslie Gelly and Mark Hubbel. He is survived by: his sisters, Debbie Gelly, Donna Hubbel and Dawn Yorks (Mike). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews along with great nieces and nephews and many caring friends.
