He is survived by: his children, Dawn Tinkham, Dale Jr. Steiner (Karen) and Daryl Steiner; his grandchildren, Jason, Jared, Ryan Tinkham, Rachel Qayumzada (Nisar), Marisa Steiner, Nicole Reisig (Nicholas) and DJ Steiner; and his sisters, Donna Schreiber and Darlene Hill. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Dale's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
