He was predeceased by: his parents, Warner McKane Sr. and Ethel Crockford; his wife Janet McKane; his daughter Kathy Vanderpoel; and his siblings, Catherine Riccio, Charlotte Snell, Rose Humphrey, Donald McKane, Gordon McKane, Fred McKane, Kenneth Crockford and Norman Crockford.
He is survived by: his children, Michael McKane (Nancy), Bradley McKane (Christine), Shelley Newman (Russell) and Tracey Phillips (Donald); his close friend Arlene Stephens; and his sister Bonnie Clonts. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren fifteen great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
