He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Place and Inda Mills Place. He is survived by: his children, Thomas R. Place, Jr. of Cortland, Bridgette Bush (Brian) of Cortland, Trisha Bush (Carl) of Cortland and Patricia Place; his siblings, Gerald 'Skip' Place (Debra) of Virgil and Debra Chapman (Boyd) of Homer; and his grandchildren, Courtney, Logan Place, Kristin, Lindsey, Jarrod and Karter Bush. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
