We are sad to announce that on December 6, 2024, at the age of 89, Theodore Gerald Thompson of Homer, New York, born in Marinette, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Theodore Gerald departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Theodore Gerald may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Theodore Gerald leaves behind.

He was predeceased by: his wife Gloria. He is survived by: his children, Gerry Thompson (Alison) of Bozeman, Montana, Sheryl Thompson, Timothy Thompson (Pam) of Foxfield, Colorado and Nanetta LaFountaine (Moses) of Plattsburgh.

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Riccardi Funeral Home (69 N Main St, Cortland, NY 13045).

Contributions in Ted's memory may be made to the Salvation Army, 138 Main St., Cortland, NY 13045; or United Way of Cortland County, 50 Clinton Ave., Cortland, NY 13045.
