He was predeceased by: his parents, John Schoonover and Eleanor Lewis Schoonover; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Schoonover and Edward Sepkowski. He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Hudson Schoonover; his children, Steven E. Schoonover, Jr. of Homer and Sarah A. Cobb (Robert "Bubba") of Homer; his grandchildren, Seamus (Mackenzie), Paddraic (Iris), Tasie (Mason), Aislynn and Savannah; his great grandchildren, Clayton and Mason; and his siblings, John Schoonover, Jr. of East Stroudsburg, PA and Susan Sepkowski of Rochester.
