He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Stone and Leona Stone; his sister Sandra; his brother-in-law Raymond Liddington; his sister Patricia; his brother-in-law Calvin Griswold; his sister Nancy Stone; and his parents-in-law, Marjorie and Roger Soule.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his children, Todd Stone (Amy) of Homer, Kimberly Butts (Chad) of Homer and Carrie Hoffa (Pat) of Dolgeville, NY.; his grandchildren, Elyse, Evan Butts, Caleigh Stone and Garrett Hoffa; his siblings, Pete Stone (Marion) of Homer, John Stone (Kathy) of Preble and Judy Wyckoff (John) of Plattsburgh; and his nieces and nephews, Lisa, Moe and Mary Cope.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Donald L. Barber Funeral Home (5016 US-11, Homer, NY 13077). A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Atwater Cemetery (5485 NY-41, Homer, NY 13077).
