He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Ottenschot and Elizabeth 'Betsy Quinn Ottenschot. He is survived by: his siblings, Anna Totoritis of Gulf Shores, AL, Jean Hughes (David), Rosemary Ottenschot, John Ottenschot of Marianna, FL, Martin Ottenschot and Thomas Ottenschot; his aunt Patricia Collier (Quinn); and his nieces and nephews, Betsy Ottenschot, Homer, Sean Walter (Kristen), April (John), Mark (Janette), Kim Ottenschot (Bob Kendrick), Lisa (Matthew), Jennifer (Brad) and Jeffrey (Andrea). He is also survived by several great nieces, nephews and cousins.
Due to the current restrictions in place for the COVID-19, services and burial (Riverside Cemetery in Whitney Point) for Richard will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
