She was predeceased by: her former husband Carlton 'Dutch Niederhofer; her son John Niederhofer; her siblings, William, James, Patrick Cotter and Susan Tagliagambe; and her son-in-law Michael Lipton.
She is survived by: her husband Carl; her children, Christine Truex (John) of Cortland, Nancy Cowan (Joseph) of Webster, Janis Hartnett (Mark) of Tully, Carla Niederhofer of Boston, MA and Joseph Niederhofer of Homer; her grandchildren, Mark Truex (Diane), Alan Truex (Erin), Trisha, Brent, Greg Hartnett (Rebecca), Natalie Harris (Peter), Joel Lipton and Molly Hill; and her great grandchildren, Nolan, T. J., Kate, Owen Truex, Celeste and Estelle Harris. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
