We bid farewell to Nancy G. Gustafson (Homer, New York), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 23, 2025 at the age of 96. Nancy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles M. Johnson and Anna Maria "Ami" Lagus Johnson; her husband Dr. John A. Gustafson; her son Paul Gustafson; her granddaughter Angela Gustafson; and her sister Charlotte Snider.
She is survived by: her children, Walter A. Gustafson (Sheila) of Nice, France, Laura E. Gustafson of Lebanon, ME, Daniel D. Gustafson (Kathy) of Homer, Martha E. Christiano (Robert) of Liverpool and J. Olaf (Ole); her grandchildren, Elsa Gustafson Dolan (Wes) of San Diego, CA, Jonaya Washburn of New York City, Elizabeth Washburn Forbes (Jon) of Lebanon, ME, Renee Drake Lepage (Travis) of Bradenton, FL, Carol Drake Hannon (Shawn) of Arcade, NY, Caleb Gustafson of Homer, Eliot Gustafson of Homer, J. Aaron Gustafson of Boulder, CO, Erik Gustafson of Seattle, WA, J. Andrew Gustafson of Lafayette, IN and Julia Gustafson of Boulder, CO.; her great grandchildren, Lilly Gustafson Lyons (Skyler), Gavin Beyea, Ewan Middleton, Lonan Middleton, Quinn Hannon, Perry Hannon, Kelly Hannon, Victor Lepage, Hannah Lepage, Owen Forbes, Wesley Forbes, Ami Forbes, Emma Forbes, Trent Washburn and Naomi Washburn; and her great great grandchildren, Orrin Lyons and Sylvie Lyons. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Grace Christian Fellowship (1250 Fisher Ave, Cortland, NY 13045).
