He was predeceased by: his mother Bernice Burvee Hallstead Albro; his wife Marion Conway Hallstead; his father Harold Williams; his stepmother Bessie Williams; his mother-in-law Caroline Conway; his daughter Sheila Hallstead Fellows; his children-in-law, Daren Brown, Alicia Strout Hallstead and Gary Strout; and his grandsons, Brandon and Brock Fellows.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon B Hallstead Brown Marshall, Sherie Hallstead O'Neill (Gene), Morris Hallstead Jr. (Beth Nourse), Sandra Hallstead Strout (Eric Hunter), Michael Hallstead (Judy), Melvin Hallstead (Leanne), Myron Williams (Lesa) and Marvin Hallstead; and his sister Judy Williams. He is also survived by Many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
