He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roger G. Hughston and Anna Jeanette Pursey Hughston; his fiancée Diane Heffner; his children, Kimberly Hughston Petrella of Cortland, Marc J. Hughston (Kristi) of Cortland and Eric L. Hughston (Maria Isabel) of Brambleton, VA; his sisters, Carolyn Folk (Floyd) and Wendy Oliver (William); his grandchildren, Rachel Petrella, Luke Petrella, Dade Hughston (Emma), Tegan Hughston, Trinity Hughston, Caleb and Emaline Hughston; and his pets, Maggie and Pug. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Donald L. Barber Funeral Home (5016 US-11, Homer, NY 13077).
