Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Gordon Wheelock of Homer, New York, born in Pitcher, New York, who passed away at the age of 94, on January 3, 2021. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Wheelock and Mabel Kenyon Wheelock; his wife Velma Jacobi; and his siblings, Avis Staub, Barbara Shippey and Gary Wheelock Gordon.
He is survived by: his son Guy Wheelock; his stepdaughter Pamela; his sister Phyllis DeRonda; his sister-in-law Margaret Lanpher Wheelock; his son-in-law Steven; his grandchildren, Catherine, Bennett, Elizabeth, Malone of Cumming, GA, Maria Wheelock and Michael Wheelock of Canton, GA.; his nephews, Chris DeRonda and Ronald Shippey; and also, Charlene, Sue and Gordon. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family.
Due to the restrictions of the Covid-19 pandemic the funeral service and celebration of Life will be held later in 2021 when Gordon will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife, Velma.
