In the sacred silence of farewell, Gary is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his sister Patricia Zlotucha; and his niece Julie Davis. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Tanner Harrington; his children, Gary'Buzz' Harrington (Paula) of Homer, Jennifer Bristol (Bruce) of Chelmsford, MA and Samantha Hapgood (Gerald) of Cortland; his grandchild Morgan Fickett of Cortland; and his children, Olivia Harrington of Buffalo and Derek Fickett of Cortland.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Donald L. Barber Funeral Home (5016 US-11, Homer, NY 13077). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Homer Elks Lodge #2506 (82 Cortland St, Homer, NY 13077).
