With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Adelaphine Thornton of Homer, New York, who passed away on October 29, 2020 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Adelaphine Thornton to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maynard Wells and Adelaide Greenwood Wells; and her brother Kenneth 'Bud Wells. She is survived by: her children, Timothy B. Thornton of Virgil, Susan C. Moscicki of Little York, Todd L. Thornton of Homer, Scott A. Thornton of Homer and Jason E. Thornton (Christina) of Uniontown, OH.; her brother Maynard Wells (Patricia) of Dryden; her sister-in-law Rose Wells of Truxton; and her grandchildren, Troy, Tabitha, Chrissy, Stacey, Jonathan, Xavier, Tyler and Kylie. She is also survived by several great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
We will be following NY State COVID-19 Guidelines. Masks must be worn at all times; social distancing practices will also be in place.
