It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alphonso A. Jellerette of Hollis, New York, who passed away on January 15, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfonso Jellerette and Ruby Jellerette; and his brother Mortimer Howell. He is survived by: his close friend Althea; his stepson Audrick Carter; his stepgrandchildren, Monique, Desiree, Troy and Linda Robinson; his children-in-law, Diane Jellerette, Robert DeJongh, Kenny Snyder, Luigi Leblanc, Sumner Dilworth and Marcus Nolan; his grandchildren, Dylan, Jordan DeJongh, Danielle, Taylor Jellerette, Yasmina Mattison Sudan, Julien, Nicolas Stainback, Ava, Farah, Giselle Leblanc, Noelle Dilworth, Teya, Skye and Olivia Nolan; and also, Elizabeth, Renee, Alexandra, Nicole and Teru. He is also survived by his cousins, the Sherwoods and his nieces and nephews.
