He is survived by: his children, Jack Murphy (Judy), Linda Nielsen (John) of Holley and Roberta Knight (Howard); his brother Harold Murphy; his grandchildren, Lisa, Matthew Nielsen, Beth Eisenberg and Rebecca Murphy; his great grandchildren, Ethan, Jessica and Gregory; and his close friend Eleanor Nichols. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
