He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Heise and Ruth Meteyer Heise Orbaker; and his sister Carol Heise Smith. He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his children, Kevin (Iris) and Samantha Zelent (John); his grandson Alexander Zelent; and his brothers, James (Suzanne) and Timothy (Hope).
