She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Vanzile and Esther Vanzile (Brockway); her husband Marvin Sr.; her son Marvin Jr.; and her siblings, John, Tom, Lola and Carol.

She is survived by: her children, Beth Meland (J. D.), John Ross (Debbie), Mark Ross (Linda), Robin Mallett (Mark), Karen Stewart and Jeffery Ross (Renee); and her siblings, Ronald Vanzile (Ceil) and Audrey Wagner (Arlen). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren.

New York State requires those in attendance to adhere to the social distancing guidelines and face coverings are mandatory.

Memorial contributions in Joan's name may be made to Lollypop Farm 99 Victor Rd., Fairport, NY 14450.
