It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theresa Barilec of Holland, New York, born in Buffalo, New York, who passed away on January 30, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Zywiczynski and Julia Zywiczynski (Paszek) of Buffalo; and her son Stephen Barilec III. She is survived by: her brothers, Richard Zywiczynski and Ray Zywiczynski (Ann). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

The family encourages memorials to the Holland Fire Department (49 N. Main St, Holland, NY 14080).
