It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rita F. Mehne of Holland, New York, who passed away on July 27, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Bette Zell (late Dave); her granddaughter Emily Evans; and her siblings, Ruth George (late Romain), Margaret Sadd and Robert Schiffhauer (Phyllis).
She is survived by: her husband Howard E. "Bud"; her children, Gail Lindsley (Bruce), Susan Evans (Gregg) and Howard Mehne (Kathy); her grandchildren, Julie Weixlmann, David Zell, Brett Lindsley, Ryan Evans, Spencer Evans, Kate Rotthoff and Alex Kibler; and her siblings, Leo Schiffhauer (Sharon) and Ann Marie Hackett (late John). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family encourages memorials be made to the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion.
