He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert and Dorothy; and his brother Richard Quant. He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his children, Heather Chambers (Brian), Chad, Justin (Felecia) and Amber (Ken); his grandchildren, Devin, Bryce, Austin, Alex, Grace, Blake and Olivia; his sister Patricia Day; and his close friend Cassie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.

The family encourages memorials be made to the Holland Fire Department or the First Baptist Church of Holland.
