She was predeceased by : her husband Roger J. Giles; her parents, Charles Degnan and Mary Degnan; and her brother Dan (late Caroline). She is survived by : her children, Roger Jr. (Sally), Joseph (Cyndi), Tressa Schneider (Marc), Jeffrey (Caitlyn), Jaclyn Bliss (Brad) and Kristen Lucchese (Joe); and her siblings, Ed (Mary), Tom (Debbie), Patty Aguglia (Dennis), Noreen Gugino (Jim) and Tim.

Visitation was held on Monday, June 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Comfort Funeral Home Inc. (6469 Olean Rd, South Wales, NY 14139). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, June 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Josephs R. C. Church (46 N Main St, Holland, NY 14080).
