“To Jeff's Family, My deepest condolences during this difficult time to Jeff's family. I am heartbroken at this news. I knew Jeff from a dark period of time when I was incarcerated. I honestly can say I never would have made it through my incarceration without him. He was a friend in a place where I tried not to make any friends. We hung out all day every day, he was a brother to me. I hope you are at peace Jeff, God and many felons around NY will watch over your family. RIP Squirrel N. Helton”
