He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Lynaugh and Reta Lynaugh (Berry); and his grandson Jason Weisenburg. He is survived by: his wife Virginia T. Fischer; his children, Kim Schwab (Rick), Mitch Lynaugh, Stacy Lynaugh (Tom) and Paula Kerber (John); his grandchildren, Stephanie (Todd), Jeff (Dana), Colleen (Mario), Douglas (Johnna), Corey (Heather), Michael (Erica), Joshua, Carson and Reagan; his great grandchildren, Paisley, Avarie, Hailey, Sienna, Lexi, Colton, Russell, Brooklyn and Brooks; and his sisters, Carlene Briggs (Bob) and Cynthia Johnson (Keith) of Vermont. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

If desired, memorial donations in Carlton's honor may be made to the Holland Fire Department, for the EMTs, PO Box 610, Holland, NY 14080.
