It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Terrence J. Balfe of Holland Patent, New York, born in Auburn, New York, who passed away on October 21, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Balfe and Sarah Balfe (Richens); his sister Marilyn Evans; and his siblings-in-law, Walter Gilfedder, Mary Margaret Balfe and Tom Trinkaus.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Trinkaus; his children, Brian, Julie Balfe (Cassanova) of Whitesboro, Krysten Balfe (Chad Armstrong) of Port St and Michael Balfe (Megan Sterling) of Rome; his grandson Luke "Bubba" James Balfe; his siblings, Linda Gilfedder of Florida, Bob Balfe of Oriskany and Laurie Turnbull (Mark); his parents-in-law, Andrew and Anne Trinkaus of Oriskany; his siblings-in-law, John (Kim Trinkaus) of Marcy, Kyle Trinkaus of Thornton, Kevin Trinkaus of Westminster, Daniel Trinkaus of Oriskany and Margaret Trinkaus of Oriskany; and his friends, Dave Rondeau, John Iannucci, Guy P. Moore and Jim Johnson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

Masks must be worn and social distancing observed.
