With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marvel Ruth Grogan (Holland Patent, New York), born in Utica, New York, who passed away on October 22, 2019 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Kunz and Marvel Kunz (Comstock); her children, David and Connie; her daughter-in-law Josephine; and her siblings, Janet Smith, Josephine Kelsey and Ray.
She is survived by: her husband Jack Grogan of Steuben; her children, Gail Flickenger (Clarence) of Remsen, Russ Grogan of Utica and Bruce Grogan (Elaine) of Ellensburg Depot; her grandchildren, Mark, Jason Wolcott, Bruce Grogan (Julie) and Ashley Kutschera (Ted); her great grandchildren, Charlie, Cally, Isabella Kutschera and Haley Grogan; her stepgrandchildren, Laura Burk, Christopher Flickenger and Amy Hayes; her close friend Denise Bramhall of Holland Patent; and her siblings-in-law, Elizabeth Wheeler, Meg Evans, Nancy DeBiase, Bradley Grogan and Charlie Smith. She is also survived by her sister, grandchildren, and great nephews.
