He was predeceased by: his mother Marion Barnes; his sister-in-law Jacqalyn Varin; and his nephew Benjamin. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Varin; his children, John Varin Jr., Jacqueline Burke, Jack Tyler Jr., Debbie Willey (David), Linda Gregory (Daryl) and His; and his brother Bob Varin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
