It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph P. DaCosta of Holbrook, New York, who passed away on May 10, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Madeline "Madge" DaCosta and Joseph Randolph DaCosta; his wife Carole; and his siblings, Richard and Sandra.
He is survived by: his children, Carri Dodd (Victor), Debra Hallett (Howard), Laurie Cunningham (Michael) and Joseph P. DaCosta II (Kim); his grandchildren, Kory Zhao (Kevin), Tylhor Dodd (Hayley), Michael Hallett (Craig MacIvor), Matthew Hallett (Alisha), Jennifer Loftman (Steven), Nikki Hickman (Josh), Ashlie Wolfe (Ellen) and Brianna DaCosta; and his siblings, Robert, Randy, Bruce and Dean.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Scouts of America Troop 76 Bohemia would be appreciated.
