He was predeceased by: his son James M. Curwood; his parents, Catherine Higgins Curwood and James Curwood; and his brother Joseph Curwood. He is survived by: his children, John J. Curwood and Joy F. Curwood (family: Jennifer Brennan); his granddaughter Aurora; his wife Kirstin Brennan; his children, Leighton, Blake and June C. Heffernan (Michael Heffernan); his grandchildren, Michael Heffernan and Dana Heffernan; his siblings, Catherine Lowie and James Curwood; and his sisters-in-law, Dubravka Curwood and Susan Curwood. He is also survived by her family: Jennifer Brennan his granddaughter.
