Velma Sharrow Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 8, 2020, at the age of 67, Velma Sharrow of Hogansburg, New York passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Velma Sharrow to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Sharrow and Lena Tarbell Sharrow; her close friend Harold Gesso Thomas; and her siblings, Elizbeth "Betty" Seymour, Shirley Herne and Gerald Sharrow.
She is survived by: her children, Okemah Sharrow of Hogansburg, Brandon Sharrow of Snye, Sky Sharrow and Shawna Thomas of St. Regis; her grandchildren, Nakia, Bronson, Kohiya, Chloe, Nia and Justin; and her siblings, Patricia (Dennis Crofts), Brenda (Dan MacAvoy), Margaret Tarbell of Syracuse, Donald Sharrow of St. Regis, Jackie (Sharon Tarbell) and Roger Tarbell of Hogansburg. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Due to current health restrictions, funeral services will be held privately. Visitation will be attendance controlled with face coverings required and social distancing observed.
