He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Cree and Mary Cree (Gray); his children, Allen Cree, Daniel Cree, Kevin Cree, Leslie Cree and Hattie Bashaw; his grandson Calvin Point; his great great grandchild Taylor Catherine; his brother Joseph Cree; and his siblings-in-law, John Cook, Daphanie Cree and Margaret Cree.
He is survived by: his children, Marie Benedict (Wesley) of Akwesasne, Carla Point (Dean) of Cornwall Island, Hilda Jean Cree (Paul Price) of Akwesasne, Michael Cree (Aline) of Akwesasne and Jason Cree of Akwesasne; his grandchildren, Ernest Cree (Mikayla), Adam, Aaron Bashaw (Katie), Allen (Bryanna), Brandon (Shylo), Amber Point (Trevor), Tira Brockway (Mike), Tracy Benedict and Kahonwine Adams (Clarence VanEvery); his siblings, Margaret Lazore (Paul) of St. Regis, Marion Cook of St. Regis and Peter Cree (Rita) of Akwesasne; his sister-in-law Julia David; and his son-in-law Kim Bashaw (Kay Gravly). He is also survived by grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren.
