She is survived by: her children, George Terrance (Sabrina) of Akwesane, Kyle Oakes of Akwesane, Shirley Oakes (Damon) of Akwesane and Darcie Cree (Brian Murray) of Akwesane; her stepdaughter Chessie (Brendan White); and her siblings, Shirley Gable (Bill) of Albany, Julie Herne (Jeff) of Massena, Bobby Herne (Trudy) of Akwesasne, David Herne (Diane) of Akwesasne, Harvey Herne (Janice) of Akwesasne, Darrell Herne (Stephanie) of Akwesasne and Richard Herne (Susie) of Akwesasne. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
