He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Wetmore and Edith Wetmore (Azzoli); his sons, Infant and William Wetmore, Jr.; his granddaughter Valerie VanValkenburgh; his brothers, Harry (Margaret) and Donald Wetmore (Marie); and his sister-in-law Beverly Wetmore.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Wetmore (Shaver); his sons, Vance Wetmore (Gigi) of Stamford, Scott Wetmore (Tina) of Otego and Eric Wetmore (Dawn) of Wynantskill; his grandchildren, Ryan Wetmore (Kristi) of Ft. Mill, SC, Matthew Wetmore, McKenzie Watson (Brandon) and Deanna Wetmore of Wynantskill; his grandson-in-law Robin VanValkenburgh of Stamford; and his brother George Wetmore. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and a cousin.
