With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald E. Bell of Hinsdale, New York, who passed away on January 12, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Donald find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Bell and Grace Miller Bell; his spouse Jean M. Sorochin; and his siblings, Robert Bell, Ronald Bell, Marian Rouse and Norma Bell.
He is survived by: his daughter Diane Witzigman (Scott) of Hinsdale; and his sister Carol Marcellin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home (3128 W State St, Olean, NY 14760). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
