He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Nichols (Gardner). He is survived by: his children, Paul Nichols (Theresa), Gregory Nichols (Kelly) and Laurie Miedema (Walter); his sister Sylvia Plummer (Jack); and his grandchildren, Zachary, Sarah Shuster, Andrew, Ryan, Elinor, Jenna Nichols and Heather Fisher.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Robin to Alzheimer's Association, 435 E. Henrietta Rd., Rochester, NY 14620.
