It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phil A. Wood of Hilton, New York, born in Sacramento, California, who passed away on September 9, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Wood and Janet Moore; and his son Timothy Wood. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Wood; his children, Karissa Wood, Jonathan Wood and Kate Ferguson; his siblings, Susan Wood and Jim (Karin Wood); and his grandchildren, Molly, Lucy, Carter, Eleanor and Emily. He is also survived by nieces and nephew.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 22nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home (2636 Ridgeway Ave, Rochester, NY 14626).
The family will receive friends 12-3pm Sunday September 22, 2024 at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. (Greece location west of Long Pond Rd.) In lieu of flowers friends may make contributions to The Monroe County Sheriff's Benevolent Association at the website (https://www.mcspba.com) to donate in memory of Phil.
