He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hassett and Helen Hassett (Lynch); his brother Tom; his sister-in-law Peg Hassett; his parents-in-law, Michael and Margaretta Bennett; his brother-in-law Michael Bennett Jr.; his sister Eller; and his brother-in-law Charlie Ross.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy (Bennett); his children, Michael (Janice) and Katie Dill (Josh); his sister Kathy Baran (John); his brothers-in-law, John Bennett (Lisa) and Christopher Bennett; his grandchildren, Benjamin, Elisabeth, Hannah and Avery; and his nieces and nephews, Kim Fowler, Jeff Baran, Michael Baran, Ken Hassett (Carrie), Greg Hassett (Yvonne), Chuck Ross, Lauren Bennett, Michael Bennett and Elise LoPresti (Craig).
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Leo the Great Roman Catholic Church (110 Old Hojack Ln, Hilton, NY 14468). A burial will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (2461 Lake Ave, Rochester, NY 14612).
