He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Speares and Lucille Speares; and his sister Patricia Speares. He is survived by: his girlfriend Mary Lou Ferrara; his children, Christine Speares (Andrew Eddy), Jamie Speares (Chrissie Keele) and Amy Speares; his grandchildren, Ashley Stall (Daniel), Kailie, MacKenzie, Michalia (Tyler Champagne), Matthew Glanovsky, Dylan Speares, Madison, Grayson and Kaylin Bryant; his great grandchildren, Gracie Stall, Millie Glanovsky and Charli Stall; and his cousin Debbie Peiffer.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Vay-Schleich and Meeson (1075 Long Pond Rd, Rochester, NY 14626). A prayer was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
