John Avenia Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 5, 2019 we had to say goodbye to John Avenia (Hillsdale, New York), born in Winsted, Connecticut. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Angelo Avenia and Lillian Marks Avenia; and his brother George Avenia. He is survived by: his spouse Ruth Wheeler Avenia; his children, John Avenia Jr. (Margaret Bower Avenia), Wendy Matte (Bob Matte), Carey Avenia and van; and his grandchildren, Alexander Matte, Olivia Matte and Emma Avenia.

In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children.
