It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Frederick Maurer Jr. in Hillsdale, New York, born in Hudson, New York, who passed away on February 12, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Maurer Sr. (Charlie) and Ruth Edna Maurer; his sister Janice Alma Banfelder; and his great grandchild Matthew Roger Maurer. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Mary Morgenstern; his son Chip Maurer (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Joshua Dunn, Nate Maurer (Jessie) and Jenna Herlich (Seth); and his great grandchild Kathryn Dunn.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Chuck's name to American Alzheimer's Association (alz.org).
