He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Schoonmaker and Florence Perkins Schoonmaker; his brother John Schoonmaker; and his father-in-law Kenneth Erichsen. He is survived by: his wife Susan Erichsen; his mother-in-law Dorothy Erichsen; his siblings-in-law, Stephen, Stuart Erichsen, Anna Erichsen, Louisemary Schoonmaker and Karen Schoonmaker; his nieces and nephews, Michael (Amber), Brian Schoonmaker (Amy), Jessica and Jennifer Erichsen (Zach); and his great-niece Mickayla.
