He is survived by: his children, Mary Broughton Kane of Wellsville and Ronald Broughton Jr. (Polly) of Wellsville; his grandchildren, Ruth McDonald (Damien) of Jacksonville, FL, Elizabeth Kulikov (Pavel) of Jacksonville, FL, Kay Broughton of Albany, NY, Paul Kane Jr. (Gigi) of Washington, D. C. and Steven Broughton (Anna) of Orchard Park, NY; his great grandchildren, Dylan McDonald, Edward McDonald, Constantine Kulikov and Agatha Kulikov; and his siblings, James S. Broughton, Robert Broughton, Alice McGillivray, Eva Sinsebox, Maggie Green and Velma Yankanich Demming (Bill). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
