He was predeceased by: his father James S. D.; and his granddaughter Allyson Galens. He is survived by: his wife Trudi Cooper (Kubitz); his children, Tracy Galens (Allen) and Peter Cooper (Deborah); his grandchildren, Kristin Tomion (Paul), Joshua Cooper and Ashley Cooper; his great grandchildren, Evalie and Waylon Tomion; and his siblings, Judith Parker (Lewis) and James O. D. Cooper (Judien). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
