He is survived by: his children, Shawn McCarthy of Rochester and Kelley Anderson of Friendship; his grandchildren, Corbin, McKayla Lounsbury, Mercedes Anderson, Sinéad and Nolan McCarthy; his great grandchild Peter McCarthy; his siblings, William McCarthy of Cuba, Linda Mastracci (Ralph) of North Tonawanda and Anne Moore of Florida; and his close friend Lynn Clark. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
